Mum Runner...Has been sold
Mum Runner had moved to Lake of the Ozarks and now she is all the way WEST operating in Long Beach Calf. She was built at the Olsen Boat Yard in Keyport N.J. As we like to say at Classic Boat Rides "wood boats ride best" and if you took a trip on Mum we know you'll agree. Her hull design offers a gentle entry into the small chop of the bay and a smooth ride. Her hull planks are cedar and her frame work is oak. She also sports teak decks that offer both beauty safety.
She was built in Deltaville Virgina by Alvin Sibley in 1978. She sailed her entire life on the Delaware bay in New Jersey. Her home port was FORTESCUE. We purchased Mariner from her 2nd owner in December of 2012. We sailed her up the coast to Leonardo (that was the first time she had ever been in the Ocean and she loved it) We spent the entire winter of 2012 and the early part of the summer of 2013 restoring her. We are very happy to have her in our fleet of Classic Wooden power boats. We think your group will love her as much as we do. Book a charter aboard MARINER soon and find out for yourself why we always say "Wood Boats Ride Best"
We look forward to having you aboard soon. Thank You Capt. Dan and First Mate Vicky.
